Good Friday Clinic at Lamar Dixon
On April 2, 2021 in Gonzales, LA, Only Basketball Elite and Shooting for the Stars held its 1st inaugural Good Friday Basketball Clinic for the youth of Gonzales from 8am – 12pm at Lamar-Dixson. This clinic was focused on basic fundamental skills and provided each athlete with building blocks to continue to elevate their game. Coach Rashaun Claiborne was the specialist coach for the older kids and Coach Edward James was the specialist coach for the younger group of campers. Both were very instrumental in making the camp a success. We were very appreciative to have Coach Carlos Sample, legendary basketball coach for Scotlandville Magnet High School as the guest speaker. Coach Sample was gracious enough to bless the camp by pouring into the kids with a message that was very inspirational. This camp was truly a success thanks to all who were involved in-person and behind the scene.
