Up Next Elite continues to exceed its goals by attracting not only top national talent but also prominent national scouts, such as Darnell Johnson from NBAdraft.net, the NBPA Top 100 camp, and Jerina Madayag from Pangos Fresh-Soph Camp and Big Shot Nation recruiting services. This annual event has become a cornerstone in Louisiana, bringing together the best coaches and players for an unforgettable two-day showcase.
This year was no exception, as experienced coaches with a wealth of knowledge gathered to inspire the next generation. The highlight of the event was the Top 20 Game, which lived up to the hype with intense competition and excitement on the court.
Adding to the excitement, NBA stars CJ McCollum, Ja Morant, and several of their NBA friends took the time to speak to the youth, sharing their insights and experiences, which left a lasting impact on the young athletes.
Following the Top 20 Game, a Pro-Am game featured the city's finest talent, including the #1 player in his class, Chris Cenac, who will be attending Link Academy next year, and Jaron Pierre, who will be at Jacksonville State. Their electrifying performances, including head-tap dunks from tip-off to the final whistle, thrilled the crowd and further elevated the event.
